I grew up reading comic books wanting to be a superhero. Comics taught me that those who speak the truth are heroes, all the rest are liars.

Not So Fast! The DFL is better than that!

"It's time for all of us to come together, committing our time, pooling our resources, and uniting our efforts to help Amy win this November." Patty Wetterling

I respect Patty Wetterling and Amy Klobuchar - I honestly do, but now is not the time to act like Republicans. We do not need to "clear the field" before our voices are heard and before we hear from all candidates. We are not Republicans.

I have to agree with Ford Bell on this one (click on the link to read Ford Bell's full address to the State DFL Central Committee):

" Are we still a home-grown, grassroots, activist party, or should we be a top-down, wholly-owned subsidiary of Chuck Schumer and the political leadership in Washington?" - Ford Bell

I will support the endorsed candidate. But I will not work for the candidate, if I feel the candidate is not open to debating other candidates running for endorsement or if I feel the candidate feels that it's a good idea to "clear the field". I just cannot, in good conscious, do it.

If you agree, post a reply to this message - in doing so we'll send a message to all who think we should act like Republicans and "clear the field".

I totally agree with your sentiment.

I love Ford Bell. He is the only candidate pledged to support single payer health care.

He is the only candidate who has said we need to get our troops out of Iraq no later than the end of the year.

He even has good ideas for helping farmers.

And he is a hunter.

Ford Bell may not have all the money but he has the clearest stand on the issues that matter.

And he is willing to debate and let the public know what he thinks.

I like Bell.
