Now that the GOP can't campaign on the issues like: war, economy, medical costs, insurance, international scene, deficit, taxes, goverment size, education costs or improvement...
Bush defends traditional marriage in face of New Jersey court ruling
Two things:
1. I've said it before, in thirty years of marriage, never once has my marriage been threaten by gay marriage rights. Nor has anyone proven how it could threaten 'traditional' marriage! But the real issues of the rising costs of fuel, food, education, and medical needs are a strain on families and marriages.
2. Bu$hCo had control of all three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judical). for the last several years. So if legislation didn't get passed during this period, it was because Dubya really didn't care. And that isn't going to change now.
Only within 60 days of the elections do the Bu$hCo righties bring this out of the closet for airing. As soon as the election is over, they quietly put it back with the moth balls. You know why? Because it really doesn't make a fig of difference to traditional marriage! And if Bu$hCo didn't have it as an issue, how in the world would they have anything to campaign on? Or enrage their fringe supporters.
