I grew up reading comic books wanting to be a superhero. Comics taught me that those who speak the truth are heroes, all the rest are liars.

Echo

I want to echo (yes, I am intentionally echoing) a post done by one of my favorite local bloggers. Not only is the blog always worth a read for the "Katherine Kersten's Korner" column, but there is some pretty smart analysis there too.

Anyway, I am always looking for leaders who speak truth to power and here is one;

"Jamie Raskin a law professor, when asked by a Maryland State Senator for his comments on the fact that the Bible says that marriage is between one man and one woman, said "Senator, when you took your oath of office, you placed your hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution. You did not place your hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible."

a link from a link, but this does need to get around.
