The Hill had an interesting tidbit on Norm Coleman…’Coleman drops leadership bid’.
Minnesota's Senator Norm Coleman cited his need to focus on the recount for dropping out of consideration as chair in a senate committee. But is that really the reason? It’s easy to understand that Norm will be spending time and money defending himself legally against lawsuits and a likely investigation into charges money was illegally funneled to his family from his close associate Nasser Kazeminy. And of course the prospect of not being re-elected must loom heavy in his decision. After all, it's hard to chair a committee when you're not longer a member of the body!
Coleman just might have another new designer suit he doesn’t have to pay for and who knows….it might turn out to be worth something!
