I grew up reading comic books wanting to be a superhero. Comics taught me that those who speak the truth are heroes, all the rest are liars.

Chickens and Bananas

Much like Chicken Little...the financial overhead of Wall Street has fallen. The Wall Street house built with heavy bricks and glass ceilings are breaking apart and falling down hill on Main Streeters like us. Add to the mess is our governments inability to correct it (or for that matter of fact to even correctly speak to the issue!). Perhaps Paul Krugman isn't too far off the mark when he says...

"So what we now have is non-functional government in the face of a major crisis, because Congress includes a quorum of crazies and nobody trusts the White House an inch. As a friend said last night, we’ve become a banana republic with nukes."

It's really past time we all buck up (including millionaires/billionaires). The cost of the greed ride has come due and there should be no free buyouts. The days of band aid fixes and quick backroom deals are done...*note to congress...do it...but do it right. This is an historic moment with no retakes...

BTW- Instead of calling it what it is...a hugh taxpayer bailout...the spin doctors are now referring to it as 'an emergency rescue'...lol...yeah..that will make it go down better.
