I grew up reading comic books wanting to be a superhero. Comics taught me that those who speak the truth are heroes, all the rest are liars.

A twist on the quote, and one that's possibly more accurate, would be that she did what most people are afraid to do. Society as a whole owes so much to her courage.

The thing about Rosa was she was everyday...one of us...working, raising a family, no big bucks, no entitlement, no big radical agenda, just an everyday person who had enough of what was wrong. Yes we own much to her courage.
