It's been five years, today, since we invaded Iraq.
When the vote was in congress to give Bu$h authorization to go to war only a handful of members had the courage to do the right thing...
Paul was one... the conscience of a liberal - what true courage looks like:
Be courageous! Vote for candidates who have demonstrated the good judgment to do what is right, even when the political winds blow the other direction.

Thank you for posting this. I moved to Minnesota the year before Wellstone died. I heard he called home prior to this resolution and told his wife that because of his stance he probably was risking not being re-elected but had to do it anyway...
Makes you wonder how many others voted for the War without really believing in it but wanted to 'protect their seats'.
Wellstone was special and his judgement and honesty is sorely missed by many of his peers in Washington DC.
