The Fairytale of Health Care Reform

I’ve got one nerve left…and it looks like Obama et al is going to blow that apart with their -cough- healthcare reform - cough. I am not amused. In fact I’m mad as hell and …er you know the line.

The latest is a new bipartisan health care proposal that takes a public option off the table. Per Daschle:

"We've come too far and gained too much momentum for our efforts to fail over disagreements on one single issue,"

Single option this (read between the fingers!)..…you see there are fifty MILLION American’s without health care insurance today. They are not ‘an option’ nor do they have 'the option'. Taking the 'public option' off the table does nothing to address health care’s biggest problems and just plays to the healthcare industries lobbies.

Right now this garden path we're going down is covered with weeds and darken by trees and briar bushes. Best to turn back to the path of light least the bears eat you sirs!
