That study is seriously flawed... but even if it weren't... better them than us.
The irony is that the only party who's ever proposed or introduced the idea of a draft, is Democrats.
At the end of the day...it's just numbers to you not people, that's apparent by your response. 'Us and them' won't solve the fact that we also are bleeding to death without replacements. Less than 5% of those eligible to fight in Iraq are doing so. If not a draft then what? You support it, so you tell me.
Less than 5 percent, is actually a good thing. They're volunteers. Can't imagine a better fighting force.
Most are National Guard...they volunteered but not to be the front line. And less than 5% isn't enough according to the generals. Still if you listen to Rumsfeld (refresh my mind what was his service record?) then our troops in Iraq will slowly be picked off bu am attacl mpw evem 15 minutes until there aren't bodies left to replace them.
BTW, how old are you? Shouldn't you be serving your masters in their War besides just cheerleading others to drink the poisened coolaid? Be sure to write once you're there...let me know how wonderful it is!
